Show Home Unveiled At Banner Homes New Homes Scheme In Gloucestershire

Award-winning housebuilder Banner Homes has unveiled a new show home at the launch

weekend of Broad Meadow in the village of Leonard Stanley, after months of anticipation from local house hunters. This development of 29 new homes in Gloucestershire features a selection of property types, from two-bedroom apartments to five-bedroom detached houses, priced from 255,000 to 475,000, with a number of homes already close to completion and residents expected to move in by December.

"There has been a great deal of interest in Broad Meadow over the past few months and we have already been inundated with enquiries, with a number of people in a position to be able to buy straight away," says Sarah Brunell, Sales Manager for Banner Homes Midlands.

The new show home is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house. Professionally interior-designed, it demonstrates the spacious interior layouts and high-quality fixture and fittings that contributed to Banner Homes winning a coveted Bronze for Best Medium Housebuilder at the What House? Awards 2010. The kitchen has stylish units, a full complement of integrated appliances and superb wood-effect work surfaces. The living room is a perfect place to relax or entertain, and with French doors to the rear garden, really comes into its own on a sunny day. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a private shower room and there are two more bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Anyone visiting the site hoping to find a property to suit their needs is sure to be impressed by the location of this new development. Nestled in some quintessential Gloucestershire countryside, on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Leonard Stanley is a small village with a long and colourful history, now a sought-after dormitory village for nearby commercial centres such as Stroud, Gloucester and Bristol.

With an historic church, pub and village green, Leonard Stanley epitomises an English village. With a range of shops, doctor, dentist and primary school, it has all the amenities that homebuyers look for within easy reach. Nearby Stonehouse and Stroud also provide a great number of retail, educational and entertainment options.

The M5 is just three miles away, providing a quick link to Birmingham and the South West, with the A419 putting Cirencester and Swindon within easy reach. There are rail services to Bristol and Birmingham from Cam & Dursley station, around ten minutes away, and to Gloucester and Swindon from Stonehouse station just two miles distant.

Following last weekend's launch, the development is now open for viewing from Thursday to Monday every week, from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
