As the first step, you need to locate the pair of Audio Out jacks on the back part of television, one red and one white. These are the jacks that used for connecting the receiver with the external speakers, or headphones in this case.

As the second step, you need to insert the Y adapter that plugs into the Audio Out jacks. After that, you should push straight in until the each plug is firmly seated with a click.

For the third step, you need to insert mini-plug on the end of headphones cord into small jack on the end of Y adapter.
