If you own a collector vehicle or vintage type of car, the insurance provider will categorize that under collector or classic car insurance instead of the regular auto insurance. The age of the car is also another consideration. Newer cars vary in the insurance coverage compared to older cars. The 15-year old vehicles and above already belong to the classic car insurance policy.
