To find a great townhouse site look for infill' sites these are within established suburbs that still have pockets of land within it. They will be houses either directly surrounding the site or in very close vicinity. They should be currently zoned residential medium density' by the council. It's a good idea to start in the cheaper and lower end suburbs. The closer to shopping malls, schools and train stations the better. If there are other brand new townhouses developments in the area then that's a great sign you are in the correct area.
