These solar powered lights are also safer than the traditional ones. These do not come with long extension cords, thus tripping hazards get reduced. As traditional ones are used with the household voltage, which is about 120 volts, a person could suffer from severe electrocution if the cord is touched, cut or frayed. As solar Christmas lights run on very low voltage, the pets and children remain absolutely safe with these. Another advantage is, as these do not require any electric outlet; a person can decorate the garden, backyard, patio or even the driveway with the solar Christmas lights. These are available in a wide variety of forms and types. Some come in the form of wreaths, while some in strings, stakes, nets, and so on. One can get blue, white or multicolored ones.
