The Statue of Liberty

This monstrosity was gifted by the French to New York in 1886. Today, it stands tall as a symbol of that old friendship between the US and France. There are stairs inside the statue, which run up to the crown of the monument. It is a popular activity to climb all the way up and take in sweeping views of the landscape from the observation windows.

Niagara Falls
