Some Things A Journalist Should Know

It is said that human beings are impressionable; everything they go through has an impact on them.

The same applies to all our journalist friends around the world. After all, a journalist is but a person who tries to present the world as it is, through a chosen media. Everything they report has a strong effect on them, though the intensity with which they are impacted may be something most of them are not aware of.

I Want a Positive Headline would like to introduce to our friends who are in the profession of Journalism, some of the truths proven by both the scientific and spiritual fraternities of the world.

First, I would like to introduce you to the works of Dr Masaru Emoto of Japan, who through his extensive research on water crystals has identified the impact of words and emotions on water at a molecular level. He shows how a positive word causes water to create beautiful, complex crystals, while a negative word causes dull and asymmetrical crystals to be formed.

Though the average human being is not equipped to conduct these tests to verify it, there is another simple yet equally profound test to derive similar results. The Rice Experiment, conducted along the same lines, is a very simple experiment which should indeed be carried out in schools and colleges to prove the potency that words have, on our environment.

Second, Dr Bruce Lipton, a renowned cell biologist, has performed breakthrough research on Epigenetics, also called New Biology. He has proved that the answers to life and health do not lie within the DNA, but within the cell membrane, which in fact, operates in response to environmental signals. In other words, it is your perception of the environment you live in that determines the fate of your health. Contrary to what has been taught all along you are not a victim of heredity.

So what do these findings mean to us? Simply, that if you believe that you live in a safe world, this feeling of security itself will keep you in good health. Conversely, though you may be living in a safe environment, you may believe yourself to be in a hostile one. Then, your immune system starts weakening from the moment you begin thinking this way.

Keeping these scientific researches and their valuable findings in mind, the point I wish to raise is that our journalist friends are going through a lot of pain simply because of their profession, and this is something they are totally unaware of. In other words, reporting news that is mainly negative in nature over a prolonged period, for the better part of life, is creating a negative environment, and this has an undesirable effect on all the people involvedthose who process it, those who report it and those who read or view it. Hence, I would request you to do some research on this subject and after realizing this, decide if you still wish to be exposed to the negativities of the world, and at the same time reflect this negativity back to where it came from.

Each of us needs to think and make a choice; a choice between healing the world with kind words and causing it harm with hurtful, violent words. And you, as a reporter, need to choose.

Thank You!

Lets create Heaven on earth, while we are alive. It is possible.
