Sorting In Your Home Based Business

Today I want to talk about the importance of sorting in your business

. When I got my start as an entrepreneur I got much of my business and entrepreneur education within network marketing business models.

I learned so much during that time whether it was how to have a certain kind of mindset to the beginning of how to learn to sell and recruit and lead people and one of the big things that I did learn from that time in my development was learning how to sort.

For those who are in network marketing businesses, sorting is something that you do every single day. What I want to talk about is no matter what type of business youre in, you need to learn how to and to perfect the art of sorting in your business and make sure that you are always being as effective as you can be in moving forward.

One of my mentors that I talk about all the time, James Malinchak, the big money speaker, always says that you cant fix losers. When he says that, hes not just talking about people. It also can go into systems, ways of thinking that you may even have or tools or resources that youre using.


No matter what business that youre in, its very imperative that you be on a constant search and hunt for people and resources that are ready to get with your program and move you and your business into the direction that you want to go in right now.

Thats a constant thing that you should always be implementing and operating from within your business.

So, whether thats an employee or business partner, people that youre working with or it can even be a certain resource or tool that youre using or even a thought process or a business process that youre following day to day.

Always look to hold on to those things that are winning for you, that are producing results and discard those things that are not.

You know sometimes it just comes down to a matter of tabling something until you get to it later. I dont want to make it seem like Im being overly harsh because Im not talking about not talking to people or getting rid of people or being inhumane or being superficial based on what someone can do for you.

What I am talking about it being a true business person who knows where youre going and knows who or whats going to help you get there and spending 80%-90% of your time focusing just on those people and those resources.


There will be plenty of time for charity and coaching and doing other things with resources or people that you feel may be holding you back.

You may care for them and dont necessarily have them out of your life or maybe even out of your business, you may be training someone to take on a certain role but 90% of your time needs to be spent working with those people and resources that are taking you where you want to go and then spending 10% on focusing on some of those other things.

So, if you will learn to sort it will make you that much more successful in any business no matter what industry that youre in or what business model that youre building to build your income as well.
