La Ramblais much more than a street in the center ofBarcelona, Spain. It is popular among all the tourists that have been to Barcelona. Itis in fact a promenade filled with Barcelona action at the highest standards. It links Plaa Catalunyain the city centre and Christopher Columbus monumentwhich sits inPort Vell. La Rambla or Les Rambles represents, in fact, a number of streets linked together, each called variant. If the tourists want to explore the street, they should leavefrom Plaa de Catalunyaheading to the harbor and explore Rambla dels Estudis, Rambla de Canaletes, Rambla de Sant Josep, Rambla de Santa Monica and Rambla dels Caputxins. La Rambla is usually a crowded area mostly during the peak of the tourist season but this is part of the beauty of the street. Pedestrians are the rulers of this area because the city council decided that no car should disturb visitors in the area. The tourists are usually more than the locals. This fact transformed the shopping nature of the site.

Another important mark is located at the northern part of the Ramblas - Liceu theatre.
