Paying a little extra for a good coat will only benefit you in the long run. And the best way that you can increase the longevity of your coats is by maintaining them. Get them dry cleaned if there are perfume spots. Don't stack them one over the other. Best is to hang them in the wardrobe, preferably in a dark corner on a cedar hangar.
