Yet, it also means that if you bet on the underdog and it upsets the favorite, you get an instant windfall. The only difficulty is to ensure you win every time you bet, be it on the hot favorites or underdogs.

Money lines bets are a good start for beginner bettors but do bear in mind that you need to learn the skills to pick teams before placing your bets.
