The sides of the building can be covered in any type of material you choose, such as clapboards, textured plywood, or even vinyl siding. This will depend on how involved you would like to get, as well as how durable you need the shed to be.
You should cut openings for the doors and window(s), and frame these openings for security. The roof, once sheathed, can be shingled with traditional asphalt shingles quite quickly and easily.
Step 7: The final step of the step by step how to build a shed process is to install the window(s) and doors. Most lumber stores have ready-made windows and doors that simply screw into the framing and are ready to use. This makes the project come together nicely, and look quite professional.
