Steve Korch Has 32 Years Of Teaching And Discipleship Training Experience

Steve Korch was born in 1950 and raised in a typical middle-class family. Much of his growing-up experience was in Santa Cruz, California, where he was steeped in the surfer culture of the sixties. After his disastrous first semester of college, he decided to join the Army, serving as a co-pilot for a year in Vietnam. Following his time in military, he completed his education. He earned B.A. in History from Biola University and an M.Div. from Western Seminary. Steve Korch then served as pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Lincoln City. Many development programs were launched under his expert guidance and leadership including a building program, a bookstore, a radio ministry and a kindergarten. He then served for three years at Fair Oaks Baptist Church in Concord, California and then for nine years at First Baptist Church in San Mateo.

Steve Korch is accomplished in many areas. He is a published author, an outstanding speaker, and an experienced professor at Western Seminary. He is often invited to speak at various conferences, seminars, retreats, camps and churches. His first book, My Soul Thirsts, an invitation to intimacy, has received superb response from thousands of readers. It has received excellent reviews from the book critics as well. Steve Korch writes with the intention of helping his readers discover who they are in Christ and how to experience all that God has for them. His other books which are in the queue of releasing soon are Coming To Your Senses, The Legionnaire's Son, and Facing Life.

Presently, he teaches various courses on spiritual formation and communication such as "Preparing for a Preaching Ministry", "Learning to Love God and Others" and many more.
