All computers require ever-growing storage facilities

This allows it to program and serve files faster,as compared to being attached to the department computer serving the applications. NAS consists of hard disk storage, which includes RAID systems. It also takes care of mapping file locations and has the necessary software for configuration. A big advantage is that it can handle a number of network protocols.

Through this iSCSIprogramme, SCSI packets can be transferred via a TCP/IP network. With the use of DAS as a base to build iSCSI storage systems, XDAS has come up with a scalable solution for storage. This involves using enterprise-class SAS drives, and cost effective SATA drives. These iSCSI to SAS/SATA raids are the first to be invented globally. They assist users in achieving top performance without incurring heavy costs.Sata Raid is the controller that works the physical disk drives. This helps the computer to use the drives as individual, separate units. As a storage interface, Sata connects the host adapters to the hard drive and other storage devices.
