. You have to realize first, what you consider missing most in your present life. Do you think it's happiness? Or perhaps you don't feel confident or are unable to indulge in some adventure. While trying getting rid or stress, utilize this hour for replenishing whatever went missing as a result of stress. Attempt a detailed mental examination of your own feelings, thoughts, and motives.

There must be many things in your routine life that remain pending for some reason or the other. Perhaps, it has been long since you have had a facial or just couldn't manage to go to the gym despite best intentions! During the slotted time for getting relieved of stress, do one such activity that pleases you but you couldn't afford it for whatever reasons. The emphasis here is to engage self in an activity that brings you pleasure, and that certainly does not include making a list of petty or big jobs that remained unfulfilled during the week.

You could use this time watching one of your favorites shows that was recorded quite sometime back, but never could spared time for watching the same. Do it in this hour and have some enjoyable time. May be you have an opportunity now to complete that unfinished painting that has continued on the canvas for too long.

You may do anything, even doing nothing for an hour is relaxing. Start thinking of some of your accomplishments, or other positive things of life that make you feel happy, proud or grateful. Making a list of such things is a great idea. Why not write the complete story of some such incident?


The intention here is not to let any negative thoughts encroach upon you're your state of mind that should remain calm and serene. It's like putting up a "Don't Disturb" placard for that chosen one hour, and concentrate on doing what you set out to do totally undisturbed.

It's not unusual for some to realize that life doesn't allow them sufficient time for taking care of themselves. You have to be smart to snatch that one hour from your schedule. It's not a bad idea to sleep early by one hour on certain days, only to get up earlier the next morning and utilize this time in any manner that pleases you.

Yes, you have to sandwich this one hour into your extremely busy schedule by any means that you deem fit. Make an effort to include this activity as a part of your schedule, howsoever busy, at work or home. Remain committed to deriving pleasure during the slotted time, by whatever activity and you are sure to get positive results.
