Have you been able to achieve success online by putting together a successful internet marketing plan? Every single day thousands of people are searching all over the internet looking for ways to make money. Most of these people fall on their face (not exactly) when they join some business and truly believe these internet myths when some scammer makes it all sound so easy. I put together some of these so called myths. Hopefully this will help on your new discovery.
Myth #1: It is EASY to get success with internet marketing.
This is by far the biggest myth running. In my first company my mentor made 1 million dollars in one month and consistently made $300k every month in his mlm business using the internet and mail order. It was the first time I met Doran and figured it was as good a time as any to ask how he became so successful. Basically, he told me it was hard, it took lots of time, effort not to mention money and anyone who suggests otherwise is probably lying or trying to sell you a bunch of horse hockey. He was right on 100%. Over the years, my first 6 not making a dime in profit, I learned just that. Granted your not shoveling concrete for a living but this is a completely different animal. Your best bet is to find someone who's been there and you can literally cut years off the learning curve.
Myth #2: Internet Marketing is for EVERYONE and they to can become successful
Rubbish. This simply is not the case. Ya, anyone that is willing to get there behind off the couch and spend a few hundred hours learning and putting it into action can become successful at it. How many people do you know would do that? Ya, not many. Always remember something, if you DO NOTHING YOU MAKE NOTHING.
Myth #3: Successful Internet Marketing Gurus "Got Rich Quick"
If you believe that I got another one for ya. People this is simply a trap. If someone ever tells you this I want you to turn around and run away as fast as you can. If your on the phone just tell that person you gotta go and have a nice day. Every person that ever sold me on that crap didn't have a pot to you know what in or a window to throw it out of. Scammers make it sound so easy and it is not. It just won't happen over night trust me. It took me SIX YEARS before I finally figured it out. In my case, I actually found the right people who were willing to teach me. Don't be afraid to do the research and be honest with people. Tell them what it really takes to be successful with internet marketing and give them a sense of reality.
Myth #4: You Can Become Successful at Internet Marketing for FREE
This is the joke of the century. Sure there are lots of services, tools, and free training out there but you will without a doubt need to spend some money to become successful at internet marketing. Doing business online for free just isn't true. Internet marketing costs are pretty low in comparison to traditional business. In fact, there really is no comparison, but it will cost something. For example, domains cost money, internet connection, websites, blogs, software, ppc, etc etc etc. You can't expect to make money selling "free stuff". Folks it takes money to make money.
Myth #5 It's TOO LATE to Start and Become Successful at Internet Marketing
It is true many successful internet marketing gurus will tell you that unless your going to join or buy from them. They would love for people to just pack their bags, go home, say that the internet is too complicated and go back to their JOB everyday. You want to know why? Because there would be less competition and they would make tons more money because of it. That fact is that it is never to late to make money on the internet. The fact is that it will never be too late to make money on the internet. Not in our day and age. Every year the stats keep climbing. More people shopping online. More people looking to start a home based business. More people coming out with new ideas etc.
If you are willing to make the necessary changes it takes to become a successful internet marketing guru there has never been a better time. So get off that couch and get to work.
