When you apply diluted soap or baby shampoo or Woolite you should place the garment or accessory in water and wait for some time. Now you can swirl it. This is the way to get rid of odor and dirt. You can repeat this process as many times as needed but never ever rub the garment or the accessory because the fibers of Cashmere are very sensitive and they become quite weak when they are wet. So you should handle them with care.

If the stain is heavy you can let it soak the soapy water for some time. It will be better if you can give it half an hour time. After that you should drain the sink. Fill the container with cold water again. Now squeeze the cloth very gentle to get the soap out of it but remember not to twist or wring it as it can spoil the shape of your Cashmere cardigans.

Hand washing is a much better option than dry cleaning when it comes to Cashmere scarves and gloves or any other accessories.
