If the offender fails to complete the DUI program requirements, the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle (DHSMV) can cancel his or her driving privileges. Even when the offenders Florida drivers license is reinstated, if he or she fails to complete the substance abuse treatment recommended by the certified evaluator, his or her drivers license might be canceled pursuant to Florida Statute 322.291.
