The recently released TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons are replacing the groundbreaking 2009 Burner Irons which occur to be some in the best-selling irons using the playing golf industry.TaylorMade's senior director of product development for irons, says that the new Burner 2.0 irons are simply better than their predecessors for several reasons.

The faces of the Burner 2.0 long-irons are thinner than the faces of the original Burner long-irons, which should help golfers create more ball speed and distance.

The balance and feel throughout the set has greatly improved in my opinion, and with the new blackened steel and chromed look their new appearance is quite striking. By getting quite extended however quite forgiving and uncomplicated to use, the 2009 Burner Irons experienced has been a massive strike right out in the gate with golfers everywhere.

The new black steel and chromed sole, along with the carbon fibered look in the cavity make thisa much more attractive iron overall. Distances were very consistent and ball flight, although a bit high, was alright by me. Some may not care for the added height but all in all, a much better performer than it's previous version. For certain, these will be a solid performer for new TaylorMade golf clubs for 2011. Hopefully we'll get a chance to check these out soon- and let you know what we really think.

When walking through a golf store, the Discount TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons are not the first set that will catch my eye, but they could definitely be the second. The profile of theis one that any amateur could enjoy looking down and hitting because of the design to look like a players club. My only issues with the Burner 2.0 head are the size of the head and the thicker topline. I am biased on the top line though, as I am a blade enthusiast. In regards to the club head size, bigger head means more forgiving on the off-center shots. TheIronsare a sharp looking set of clubs.

Feel

Playability- Honestly, I was expecting more than I got here. With the size of the TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons For sale, I was expecting a large face area that would be soft all over the face, but I don??t believe these irons actually have it. When struck well, the iron feel great, just as they should, but mishits are where feel really counts. I was playing with some Xstiff C-tapers and on thin shots are where I had the biggest issue. Some vibration could definitely be felt, which is what would shy me away. On the contrary, when hit fat, the club still felt like it was hitting solidly, which for many amateurs is a plus.
