Teacher Dismissals: How Not To Be Dismissed

Every school would so not hesitate to form a group of teacher dismissal pool

. After all they have the every right to do so. As a teacher, the only thing you can do is to not belong to this. And this requires much effort, hard work and dedication.

Sometimes, hard work and dedication can't assure you of such a stand. What can really guarantee you with such are to not do things that are both unnecessary and can endanger your profession. As a hint for any teachers out there, here are some areas that should not be overlooked to avoid layoffs of teachers.

1. Continue to improve. Any teacher must never be satisfied with your current wisdom and knowledge. As much as possible, see to it that you are improving in terms of your subject and other areas as well. A good teacher instantly knows how to not settle in the current area and situation. You must always look for opportunities where you can grow mentally and you're over all totality. Attend seminars, symposiums and workshops. Conduct research topics on anything related to your subject. Be competent and drive for something higher and be hungry for more.

2. Be in good terms with the others. As a teacher you are not only there to teach students. You should also be in good relationships with the students and your colleagues as well. It would be difficult in the end especially if someone is saying bad things about you. This definitely can lower your morale and it only shows that you have poor interpersonal skills. Another note, teachers must not only be good in classroom discussions, but also in communicating others. A good number of friends are essential to back you up and even defend you in the end.

3. Become active in the school community. Nothing is more useless than a teacher who acts like a wallflower. At school there are many opportunities where you can take a part. This cannot only boost your academic performance but also your involvement. If you took an important role and successfully lead the activities, the administrator may be able to notice it. This then adds to your value and importance in the school. With this you can be assured that your presence will not be negligible.

These are precisely the things that you may be able to adopt and apply to your self. When done properly it can eventually improve your stay in the current school that you are in. So, step up, be active and be involved. It is much better to be such than be a part of the dreaded teacher dismissals circle.
