Team Building For My Employees

I run a very successful company based on core values

, value for money and a customer care departments most other companies would die for. In our specific market, we have leap fogged our competitors because of this. During the last twelve months, we have been fortunate enough to buy some of them out thus reducing the competition in our area. But thanks to the internet sales we are now a global company and expanding in the market places beyond our own expectations.

As you can imagine as the CEO of the company my own work load has increased beyond recognition from only two months ago. I now have a team that work specifically for me. I have professional advisers, researchers and team leaders who keep the work force in check.

I have a particular guy who keeps a track on statistics. He reports to me on a daily basis. His reports are broken down in to geographical and office areas. He reports on specific office performance as well as on individuals and teams.

Recently some areas have given me cause for concern. Their performances have faulted in an alarming way. I need to deal with this quickly as our profits are suffering. I asked for supervisions to be done by team leaders. This will give me an idea of what problems the individual staff members are having. I will then be prepared prior to my visit and intervention.

It has come to my attention that the staff we inherited through our takeovers have rattled the existing staff. The new staff have made a negative impact on what was a positive team, post take over. I have devised a team building exercise for them. This is a proven way of dealing with this problem.

Due to my busy schedule, I have employed a professional team building firm to take over this important area of concern. The team building company will hold supervisions of their own prior to the team building sessions and after. This will give them an insight to the staffs feelings.

I hope with this intervention we can nip the negativity in the bud. I have invested far too much time and money for a couple of unwanted staff members to ruin such a good thing. If I do not act accordingly I could lose everything in as short a time as I gained it.

I have had some feedback of the post team building supervisions and the problem seems to be staff members are upset and confused. The new staff members did not have a place in our tight nit staff community. We made new positions for them. This was a mistake as the existing staff saw this as less experienced workers leapfrogging them into better positions. So they in turn started looking for other jobs. I hope to address the whole of the staff team in a huge team building conference I have set up with the help of this new team-building firm. I am confident it will work well and we can move on from this little hiccup.
