The questions an immigration attorney is going to ask you, will be like these: "have you ever been arrested," "have you ever been deported," "have you ever filed immigration papers on the past?" "Are you currently in removal or deportation procedures."

Even if the answer is no to all those type of questions, there are still many more questions that need to be asked so that you can be helped. Questions such as, "How long have you been here in United States?" "Do you have any children born here?" "Are you afraid to return to your home country?" "Have you been the victim of a crime or domestic violence?" "Are either of your parents or grandparents US citizens?" "Do you have an offer of employment in the US?" "If so, with what company?" "When is the start date?" "What type of work is it?" "What type of education you have?"

These types of questions need to be answered first before your immigration attorney could tell you whether or not you have a case. Again that is a big red flag to you if the immigration attorney that you go to for advice is talking more than listening, and not asking you these types of important questions.

Like any other situation such as going to a doctor and getting a diagnosis you don't feel comfortable withget a second opinionor even a third opinion. Do what you need to do until you feel comfortable that your immigration concerns and your legal concerns are being addressed adequately, and effectively.
