Tennis rackets for beginners

Tennis is realy great game, because 2 players able to speak each other during whole game

. Too bad that in such countier as Russia, Finland, Norway is realy hard to find court at winter time.

It's always a problem for beginner to choose a racket. Which parameters are more important and which are less. Let's try to figure it out.

Basically racket is divided into three parts: a handle, a neck and a head.

A handle. A simplest way to choose a handle is to put it at your hand, then grip it, and put your forefinger to the gap. If the gap is equal to your forefinger so the handle is yours.

Also, main rule says pick the largest handle, that is comfortable for you.

A head. There are four types of racket head, different in strings area (in sq. cm.): Midsize (452574 sq. cm.), Midplus (580677), Oversize (710742) and Superoversize (748871).

Last two types better for players, who like to play at the rear line, Midsize and Midplus more suitable at the net.

Also, there are one thing, that should be mentioned. I'm taking about weight and balance of the racket.

Some modern rackets weigh less than 320 grams. But you should remember that the heavier racket is the stronger would be a hit.

Usually rackets balanced to the middle. But some rackets have shifted the center of gravity. Rackets with heavier head are more suited for the rear line, but rackets with heavier handle are better at the net.

Using these simple advices will surely help you to choose exact racket that you need.
