Texas Aandm Aggies College Football Tickets And Seating Chart

There's no question that the Texas A&M Aggies came out of the gate with a rip roaring start to things this season

. The Aggies took on New Mexico in the opening game and beat them 41-6. The followed up with a game against Utah State and won 38-30. A third game against UAB was a three-peat for the Aggies with a final score of 56-19. This was a fantastic start to the 2009 games and fans were ecstatic to see the Aggies doing so well. Many diehard fans continued to be supportive as the Aggies lost to Arkansas 19-47, Oklahoma State 31-36 and Kansas State 14-62 but not without asking the questions coaches and players were asking themselves about what happened to the winning streak that started the season.

Overall team statistics look good with points per game averaging 251, rushing average 80 and passing average 98. Overall individual statistics for the top five have Cyrus Gray, Christine Michael, Jerrod Johnson, Bradley Stephens and Uzoma Mwachukwu holding the best averages. Head Coach Mike Sherman has been instrumental in making sure the players don't get hung up on just one game, reminding them to put losses behind and focus on the games ahead and improving strategies that help to win games.

With a turnaround in the last game against Texas Tech, the Aggies were back on their game with a win of 52-30. Up next, the Aggies take on Iowa State at home on October 31. The reminder of the 2009 schedule includes opportunities against Colorado on November 7, Oklahoma on November 14, Baylor on November 21, Texas on November 26 and appearance at the Big 12 Championship on December 5. Fans, coaches and players themselves are optimistic and looking forward to seeing this young team of players put forth their best in each and every game that's ahead.

Kyle Field has been the home of the Aggies since the 1920's. It is regarded by many as one of the most intimidating venues in existence with mile high seating arrangements that are unlike any other stadium in the country. With a seating capacity for 82,600, Kyle Field reached a record crowd in 2007 of 88,253 at the game versus Texas. Those who want to experience the epitome of height in outdoor football should choose from the 500s section for their seating. Less industrious types and those who want to get closer to the action can scale down the seating numbers respectively.

Six ramps and 13 different gates offer easy access to Kyle Field. Gates 6, 7 and 8 are the closest entries to the two story press box area. One of the few fields that still offers players natural grass, Kyle Field named after Edwin Jackson Kyle (athletic council president and dean of agriculture). Experiencing the 12th man television is something to behold. At 110 feet high with approximately 4,000 square feet of video board and 1,100 feet of ribbon board is unlike any other experience.

There's no mistaking the "Alumni Side" of Kyle Field. The press box side on the west is clearly marked with the words "Welcome to Aggieland". Unlike many large stadiums around the country, Kyle Field allows fans to bring cameras, bags and backpacks. If you have need of these things, allow time for searching before being admitted to your designated seating. From any outdoor seat in the house, great concessions are available on all levels of all the concourses. Those who want free parking can head to Post Oak Mall and get free shuttle service that starts 2-1/2 hours before the game and runs 2 hours after the game's conclusion.
