My heart was beating out of my chest, the fear, the anxiety, the pain, the loneliness was more intense than anything I had ever experienced. I kept thinking "has our relationship gone to far down to the toilet?" "What can I possibly do to get back together?"

I thought, once I made the decision to get married, I would never have to go through this kind of heartbreak. I thought my marriage was safe and secure. At this point, I was pissed, scared, angry, hurt, and embarrassed. I was just a black pit of ugly emotions.

I tried to reason with her, plead with her, and beg her. I stayed in constant contact, and did everything I could for her. I didn't realize those were the things that were actually driving her away faster than anything imaginable. Those were the worst things I could have done!
