. The main problem is that it's not just a weight issue. Being obese can have huge health implications and bring on many deadly diseases. Once you know what is causing all the weight gain it will be easier to fight back and slowly get back to a healthy weight. It's possible!

If your waistline just keeps getting bigger, the one thing you don't need to stress out about is exercising more. Activity is good, and the more the better, but when you're stressed your body is more likely to gain weight and give up mentally.

The main reason so many people are considered obese today is not a result of lack of exercise as much as it is not eating the right foods. It's so easy to get only food that is highly processed that you can go months without eating any kind of fresh, whole food.

Let's face it, if you have a lot of weight to lose, it's not going to happen overnight. You need to focus on small changes in your life that you can learn to live with. Work on one thing at a time and before you know it you'll be achieving amazing results.

Start by eating healthier, nothing else. After looking at what you eat, if you find all you eat is canned goods, boxed meals, and other highly processed foods, maybe you should just start with one meal a day that's healthy. Or cut out half of each processed meal and add in some fresh fruit and vegetables.

If you slowly work into it you'll be able to stick to your guns and form good habits that will be easy to keep up with. Working on one small thing at a time is the only way to lose weight without throwing in the towel and saying "Forget it!"
