The Attractions Of Delhi In India
Being the capital of India and an important civilization center for a very long period of time
, Delhi has a lot to offer to the tourists coming from all over the world to explore the Indian culture and architecture.

The Lakshmi Narayan Mandir
Near the Connaught Palace, the Lakshmi Narayan Mandir is another modern Hindu temple that welcomes guests from all over the world. The temple is featured with its red and white brick domes. It was built with the money of rich merchants" family; the Birlas or the Birla Mandir.
The shrine of the temple is dedicated to the goddess of wealth, Lakshmi, to the right hand side, and her consort Narayana, the protector of life, on the left hand. There is also another small beautifully decorated chamber ornamented with mirrors and colored stones. This chamber is dedicated Krishna, one of the incarnations of Vishnu.
Live music is played almost all the time around the temple that has many Hindu scripts and verses around its walls and some of them are translated into English. Tourists from all around the world travel to India to watch the Sikh and Buddhist temples spread around the country.
Paharganj
Located next to the New Delhi Railway Station and near the Connaught Palace, Paharganj is a district that is full of cheap hotels, many restaurants, cafes, shops, and many stores selling a lot of different goods.
Paharganj is usually visited by budget tourists or travelers who came to India for different reasons like studying, trading, or maybe visiting a relative or a friend. Only a few tourists who spend their India tours stay in Paharganj.
The National Museum of Delhi
Located at the northern section of Paharganj, the National Museum offers an interesting illustration of Indias history and culture. As part of the tickets the tourists pay for, the price for an audio tour of the museum is included. The museum is large and needs at least two hours to be explored.
The feature displays of the National Museum in Delhi contain the collection of the Harappan Civilization and they are situated in the ground floor. The Central Asian collection of the National Museum in Delhi consists of large paintings, many documents, books, and ceramics and tiles that were brought from Eastern Turkestan that dates to the period between the 4th and the 11th centuries. In the way to exit of the museum, there is the notable chariot brought from the Temple of Tamil Nadu which is a wonderful piece of woodwork.
