The Benefits Of Hp Laptops
HP Netbooks and HP laptop have the same purpose
, to keep us connected in a very handy and portable design. However, how would you really know which one works best for you? Aside from the size, there are lots of differences between a netbook and a laptop; though, they both serve the same basic function.
Netbooks, like the HP mini are developed for portability, simple and trouble free access to the internet with the use of the Wi-Fi built into it. The HP mini is lightweight, therefore it is ideal to bring along when travelling. The downside is, netbooks cannot carry the demand of high productivity especially with media apps. However, for those who travel a lot, a netbook is the best partner for you main computer where your data are stored and you need to access them on mobile. Netbooks are installed with software to sync, export, and access, edit and publish documents stored in your main computer.
A laptop on the other hand, like the HP laptop, is a multifunctional minicomputer that is also portable. It also comes with a Wi-Fi for wireless internet access. However, due to larger screens, larger hard drives and built in DVD drives add to the weight of the laptop thus it is not as portable as compared to a netbook.
Another difference between HP netbooks and HP laptop would be editing photos and videos. As stated before, working with media application is pretty challenging for a netbook. It totally slows processing down, so with watching videos and movies and playing games with rich graphic designs. It would also be slow and difficult for a netbook to run two or more applications at the same time. All these that a netbook cannot do, a laptop can do, pretty much like the desktop computer.
Looking at the hardware, a netbook is small; you can put it in a purse, while laptops fit in a backpack or big bags. Their weights also differ, with netbooks weighing as much as 3 lbs but a laptop weighs 5-9lbs. Another striking difference between a netbook and a laptop is their memory, where a netbook only has 2GB of memory but a laptop not only carries more memory, it is even expandable to support apps and software with heavy graphics and design. Also, a netbook does not have a CD/DVD drive.
Of course, if you look at the price, a netbook cost lesser than a laptop. So the big question is, should you go for an HP mini or an HP laptop? Well, there is no right or wrong answer to this question. It actually all boils down to what type of user are you? If you do heavy work with a computer, like opening multiple applications, especially media apps while on the road, then due to the limitations of a netboook, it cannot serve this purpose. But if you are looking for a pocket-sized mobile partner, not as hefty as a laptop (and not as expensive too) but not as miniature as a mobile phone or smart phone, yet allows you to surf the web for basic searches, email, blogs or social networking, then the netbook is best for you.
