Why do I want to be a medical transcriptionist

? I want to be a medical transcriptionist because I believe I have what it takes to perform special duties in this industry. The average salaries for medical transcription are also higher. I also have a broad knowledge and skills in the medical field as I was a 4 year nursing student back in the Philippines. I love medical terminology and science as I was a member of the science club back in college. I also studied medical assisting program as well as pharmacy technology. I worked as a certified nursing assistant and a caregiver.

The primary advantage is the experience gained and I will be able to practice my knowledge and skills in the medical field. The ability to be a professional while taking care of my family is of the utmost advantage to me. Its very rewarding and exciting as well.
