The Brisbane Marketing Agency That Helped My Business

A SimJen comapny review by a very satisfied customer.

I dont normally do company reviews online, but Simjen recently teamed up with my business to do some marketing work and I think they deserve some recognition. So if youre thinking of using them yourself, read on to find out more about what you can expect.

To give you a general overview, Im the owner of a small business in the air conditioning and electrical industry, and weve been operating for about six years now. In the past weve done the usual local marketing thing put ads in the Yellow Pages, done up flyers, etc. But we never really saw too much of an increase in sales or even customer queries. Then about a year ago, a friend of mine (another business owner) recommended that I have Simjen do a company review of my marketing methods and make some suggestions. Im glad I followed up that recommendation!

Obviously, I was a bit unsure at first because I hadnt heard of them before. And like any other business owner Im sure, it can be a bit scary putting your company in the hands of an outsider. But from the moment I called, I started to feel more and more okay about it excited even. They were very helpful on the phone, explaining exactly what they did, what the process was and asking about my current business structure and advertising methods. They even came out to my office to talk further about the whole thing. What I liked most was that they didnt over-pressure me. We just talked and I looked at some of the work theyd done for other people, and that was that.

I decided to go ahead with a strategy package where the strategy experts at Simjen do a company review of your business and come up with a whole bunch of ideas. For example, they suggested re-doing my website (which definitely needed some attention), brochures, search engine optimisation (which I hadnt heard of before) and social media among other things. In a meeting with me and my second in charge they went through all the different tactics, explained how they could be carried out and explained why theyd work. What I liked about this part was that they didnt make me feel like the control was out of my hands they made it clear that if I didnt like a particular idea, I didnt have to do it, and that I could basically pick and choose what I wanted to go ahead with.

There were only two ideas that I decided not to continue with due to funding, but all the rest sounded great, and more importantly, they sounded achievable. After deciding which Simjen ideas from my company review that I liked, I went ahead and redid my website, which now looks really professional and created an online enquiry form that has since had a load of hits. Their design team did up some amazing brochures and gift cards, which a lot of my customers have even commented on. And they did more, but you get the idea.

The point is, Im of the school of thought that when youre happy with service, you ought to tell someone. Thats what I hope my own customers would do for me, so thats what I try to do for others who deserve it.
