The Business Visa To Australia

One of the ways to enter Australia is through is its Business Visa Program

. This program allows entrepreneurs and businesspersons to avail of a Temporary visa with a length of four (4) years. The benefit of this program is after establishment of the business within Australia, the individual can then apply for Permanent Residency in Australia.

There are different kinds of business visas available to be allowed entry into Australia. These are as follows:

The Subclass 160 or 163 Visa. This is also called the Business Owner Visa and allows successful business owners with a valid interest in the establishment and management of a business enterprise in Australia. In order to apply for this type of visa, the applicant is required to submit documents such as proof of an actively operating enterprise that are not passive nor speculative in nature for two of the past four years. The applicant should be an active participant in the management and operations of the business. The business should have an annual turnover of at least AU$500,000. Also, documentation regarding ownership shares of a business, personal assets amounting to AU$800,000 that are liquid enough to be transferred to Australia within two years, must be above 45 years of age and IELTS passer.

The Subclass 161 or 164 Visa. This is also called the Senior Executive Visa. The individual applying for this kind of visa must have experience in the top three levels of management within a major business. The requirements include proof of such top tier management position in two of the past four years for a major business handling strategic policy affecting a major component of the operations of the business. Also required is successful business record without any record of unacceptable business activity, with assets of at least AU$500,000 available for transfer within two years, above 45 years of age and IELTS passer.

The Subclass 162 or 165 Visa. This is also called the Investor Visa. In order to qualify for this visa, the individual applicant must have a designated investment capitalization of at least AU$1.5 million, with a history of business success and record of eligible investment activity in valid commercial enterprises. The applicant needs to have direct experience in management of a business with a business interest of at least 10%. The individual must have assets amounting to AU$2.5 million, at least 45 years of age and an IELTS passer.

The Subclass 845 Visa. Also called the Established Business Owner Visa, this is for temporary visa holders who are also owners or part owners of an established and successful business in Australia. This is a visa for individuals with a permanent business interest in Australia. The proof needed is the recognition of their business interest for the ongoing business enterprise located in Australia.
