The Definition Of Self Esteem by:Amy Twain

Basically, the definition of self esteem means: that you should be confident in whatever

you're doing that you should feel good both in mind and body giving due importance to yourself, having that positive attitude in you and most of all to be worthy of the love and happiness you always deserve. Sense of worth is the form of the spiritual estate. It is the spiritual infrastructure by which the spiritual forces of the individual enhance and develop. Sense of worth is the inner drive, a certain creative energy and an attribute that could be whether negative or positive (which rests entirely in you).

The negative energy diminishes the confidence and in regard with this, the negative development arises. On the contrary, the positive energy boosts the sense of worth that therefore fosters the positive development. Confidence also means the importance to the outside world. It is also termed as one's self worth. This is the power of how you recognize and acknowledge yourself, and it is the sense of your worth. If you recognize yourself as someone that is successful and you also feel that you deserve to be happy and be successful, then there is a healthy self esteem in you. However, if you think otherwise and think that you're a failure then you need to learn the methods and strategies in the confidence department.

There are several persons out there who want to increase or boost their level of confidence. The question arises that why would they want to do so. There are numerous answers for that as they want to feel ore confident and they want to be more secure with themselves. Nevertheless, just bear in mind that a person's sense of worth is all that you want to do with your own feelings. The individual's sense of worth is the casual factor in trying to determine the level of confidence. The level of the true confidence of the person is steady. Self-respect is the feeling of your worth.

When you would be able to see and sense the areas or aspects that are blocking the confidence and assurance in you, then you would be able to view and understand the problem clearly. You should know this as you would need to use the senses for the methods in raising and uplifting the power of confidence in yourself. The assurance is deemed as to be the sense of living happily with your own character and personality and also the abilities regardless of the opinion of other people around you. It is the level of self-assurance or self-respect by which the individual is learned to be appreciated and stands out in the eternal world.

And only because of this do we learn to act and react. In this manner, we also learn to appreciate other people at this level. There are times that the level of our self-respect is higher than the subjective self-esteem. But we could also say that the perceived self worth of the person is appreciably much lower than self esteem.
