Celebrating life on a daily basis is an important part of healing

A positive ritual to develop for the New Year/New You could be meditation, during which the restful alertness helps increase serotonin levels. Spontaneity can be part of the celebration process, and you can maintain your ability to be spontaneous by living in the present and processing emotions as they surface.



One way to begin celebrating each glorious new day is by using a positive affirmation after awakening every morning. Chopra suggests the following affirmation: The mind and body, in their natural state, are designed to immediately expel any negative emotions. Expanding our consciousness gives reason to celebrate, for this is a sign that we are progressing towards the mastery of our spirits.
