New York is one of the most urbanized state in America
. It is located in the northeastern part of the United States. It is ranked as the third state with the most population in America. In the seventeenth century the place was inhabited by Native Americans, and then later on Dutch nationals as well as some people from France came to reside there.

Another signification event in for the state in the nineteenth century was the installation of the Statue of Liberty. It was installed there in October 28, 1886. It was a gift from France because the Americans celebrated 100 years of independence. It was installed in the Liberty Island.
Another famous New York landmark is the Grand Central Terminal. It is also known as the Grand Central Station. It can be found in Manhattan's midtown area. It started its operations in 1913. Recently it underwent a huge renovation so it can reclaim its original beauty. It is one of the regions famous transportation areas because it connects the state to the other nearby towns and cities. It has also become a popular tourist destination.
