The National Hockey League (NHL) has been clamoring about one of the Original Six, the New York Rangers. The Rangers have been a part of the NHL since 1962. From the start, the Rangers Fans have provided the team with their support and continuosly patronized the Ranger tickets. The fans, however, are being satisfied with every match they play. The Rangers ticket sale have been undoubted especially the team has the wins to support it. Since they were formed, the team has won four Stanley Cups. Their Stanley Cup win in 1928 made them the first American franchise to have won the Stanley Cup. They also won the 1933 and 1940 Stanley Cup.Keenan led the Rangers in 1994 to their fourth and most recent Stanley Cup.

The team did have their share of misfortune in the league. The team stumbled into some bad luck between their third and fourth Stanley Cup win. Despite this, the fans still continued to show their support for their team. The supporters of the Rangers have endured the long lines just to get their hands on some Rangers tickets and show their support for their team. The curse ended when the team won their fourth Cup.

The curse idea was formed because the team have been experiencing what seemed to be bad luck for decades. People thought that what the management did in 1940 brought the curse upon the team. The management desecrated theCup by burning the mortgage of the Madison Square Garden in the 1940 Stanley Cup. Others were made to believe that the curse started when the New York Americans were disbanded.

Despite the apparent losing streak of the team, the Rangers managed to have a comeback. The team was rejuvenated by the changes in the staff and players as well as by the support of their fans. Though they have not had the chance to win the Cup, they have performed well in the past seasons. Fans are now eagerly awaiting the return of the Rangers on the ice and the chance to watch them play. The Fifth Stanley Cup is not far from reach of the Rangers now.
