However, throughout the forecast period, the construction equipment market is expected to improve as a result of economic recovery and government stimulus measures. The German government announced a series of stimulus packages in 2009, which from the second half of 2010, began to demonstrate a positive impact on the market. In addition, the US$66 billion stimulus package announced by Germany in January 2009 will provide the market with a much needed boost. During the forecast period, WMI expects the German construction equipment market to register a CAGR of 9.54%, to value US$10.9 billion in 2015.
