But wigs are also becoming used in regular fashion a lot more regularly, for reasons other than medical. It's becoming more common for women to wear wigs just because they like to, not because they have to.

Using different hair as part of a fashion trend is nothing new. Extensions have been and still are very popular with women. Whether they buy extensions that match their current hair color or in a different color to really stand out. It's a fairly common thing, whether they buy them to put in themselves or have them professionally done. It also helps for women with shorter hair to have the illusion of longer hair.

But instead of just extensions, many are using full, natural looking wigs in their day to day wear. That is because with a proper, well made wig, you can easily hide any kind of hair underneath the cap and successfully pull off the wig's look. While it is easier to do so with already short hair cuts, it can be done with long hair if it is properly pulled up and covered with a cap to secure it in place.

Wigs have been used in fashion for a long time, letting models have a variety of styles and cuts all for a single photo shoot or within a given amount of time. That way, their natural hair doesn't go through the stress of constant cut and dyes.

But for every day use, it is just as accepted. Many women are starting to invest in quality wigs to use from day to day, whether they want a particular look at night that is distinctive from work, or just like to be known as the person who likes to change it up a lot.

Wigs, for a time, where a bit taboo because of the reasons behind why people used them. Also for the idea that it was "fake". But it turns out that more and more people are embracing the idea of using different wigs to actually show off their individuality, which is truer than anything else could be!
