The LG GT540 offers excellent everyday functionality thanks to its long list of features and applications. To kick off, a versatile media player supports all manner of video and music files. Social networking fans are well catered for thanks to the inclusion of social networking integration with applications allowing direct access to Facebook, MySpace and Bebo. A handy organiser, document viewer, voice memo and T9 text input are also included.

Connection to the internet is provided via HSDPA at speeds of up to 7.2 Megapixels in areas covered by 3G. Wi-Fi connectivity offers the chance for users to gain a faster internet browsing experience in areas where a wireless internet router is present. The main method of connecting to cellular networks is via class 10 versions of both EDGE and GPRS.

The LG GT540 is available in Black, White and Pink colour variants, so is sure to appeal to style conscious users as well as those who are won over by its impressive spec list.
