The local gardening group in Leasingham organises a range of activities including horticultural shows and visits to gardens of special interest. Leasingham is a small village in the North Keveston district of the county of Lincolnshire in the East Midlands of England. One was about the growing and care of orchids, presented by a specialist grower. Another meeting welcomed a speaker who is the owner of the National Hyacinth Collection, which was of great interest to the hyacinth aficionados of the Leasingham Gardening Group. Often the December meeting will have a florist or another flower arranging expert present ideas for Christmas flower arrangements.There is also a sale table' at each meeting where the members of the group bring gardening related items that they no longer need or feel that other members would benefit from. These include books, magazines, cuttings, whole plants, seeds and spare tools. People who want anything pay for them and all proceeds go to the committee funds of the Leasingham Gardening Group. There is sometimes a quiz at the monthly meeting, in which teams are made up from the members of the Leasingham Gardening Group.The Leasingham Gardening Group welcomes new members at its monthly meetings.
