The Lougheed House at the Calgary Wedding Fair
Many men in Calgary, myself along with them, will be cringing in terror this coming weekend
. While I'll be busy with work here at O Hotel Suites, my girlfriend will be attending the 2010 Wedding Fair. With her mother. The only solace that I can find right now is in the fact that this seems to be a pretty big event, and I am certainly not the only one in Calgary going through this trauma. On the plus side, our favourite restaurant/historical manor The Lougheed House will be attending the fair and are offering a great deal.
Share: Now, enough about me. The Wedding Fair will be held this Sunday, the 24th, at the Stampede Roundup Centre. The doors open at 9:30am, and close at 5:30pm. The admission price is $18.00 and the mental well-being of any prospective groom that walks through the doors. There are three fashion shows, at 11:00am, 2:00pm, and 4:00pm. Luckily for the tuxedo wearers of the wedding party CJAY 92 and LAZ-Z-BOY furniture are sponsoring "The Groom's Room", an area where there will be comfortable chairs, non-stop sports on a giant-screen, refreshments, and prizes. As I mentioned before, The Lougheed House will be at the Wedding Fair on Sunday, Jan. 24. See them and enter their competition to win $500 off your wedding at the House. Jonathan Meier is the Online Marketing and Social Media Coordinator for O Hotel Suites. He has received a degree in Communications Studies from the University of Calgary and is now, miraculously, employed in a related field.
