Fats store just underneath the skin in a variety of places around the body
. Sometimes these fats are found around the abdomen, but other times in the legs, the buttocks or the arms. Incredibly high in energy density as opposed to other energy sources within the body, fats are hard to metabolize. Fats are useful for prolonged uses of energy, as the body burns through all it's readily available energy and once depleted looks to what it has stored.
