CCTV or the Closed Circuit Television actually is much of a surveillance device that

modern technology has gifted us and less of a television set meant for our entertainment and time pass. The CCTV cameras form the core of this ultra modern surveillance system. It is capable of recording any audio video stream within its limited range with absolute diligence. A cctv camera comes in different shapes and sizes. Usually there three types of the device most popular among the customers. One is the dome camera, which remians inside a dark dome. It remains hidden from the observant and as such the object remains unaware of its presence. The other is the wall cctv camera. Just opposite to the dome ones, these are bluntly visible from outside. An observant is aware that he or she is being watched. The wall cameras may again be available in a number of sub versions. Some of this could be water resistant or even bullet proof in nature. Some of this again could be sensitive to the infrared. Most of these have the option of zooming in or out of focus from a central control. This lens adjustment helps to get more clarity both in terms of video and audio streams that are being fed into it. The third type is the hidden cctv cameras, which is a step higher than the dome ones. These cameras remain completely hidden to their objects of focus which makes them almost untraceable. These generally are placed inside other objects and thus the objects remain completely unaware of their existence.

Based on these different physical features, a cctv camera is priced at different levels. According to the general trend of the market, the price of this product has sloped a lot from the days of its first inception in the market. Moreover, easy maintenance and uncluttered installation is making it more and more popular in the market.
