Chevrolet is in good spirit after winning both the British and World Touring Car Championship titles; its resurrection in the UK market is also going to plan. To further strengthen its product line up Chevrolet will be unveiling the Cruze at the Geneva Motor Show, the Cruze has been earmarked as the model to bring Chevrolet even greater success in the sales leader boards. The new models appear to draw styling influences from the Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback concept initially previewed at the Paris Motor Show last September, which achieved plenty of praise from prospective customers and industry experts alike. As well as the hatchback body being ultra practical, which has one of the biggest load areas in its class, it also brings new levels of style to match its versatility. With its attractive sweeping coupe roofline and short front and rear overhangs, it enjoys the same dynamic stance as the saloon model, but with even greater sleekness. Chevrolet Managing Director, Mark Terry said, "The Cruze Hatchback will give us a huge opportunity in the UK. This year alone, we've got four major new model launches that will have a significant positive impact on our product line-up in the UK, as well as the Camaro to cast a halo over the rest of our range." The new hatchback will be available with a choice of new engines too including the top of the range diesel unit that comes with 163bhp and a six speed manual gearbox. The Chevrolet Cruse saloon has done really well since it release, Chevrolet Scotland has been struggling to keep up with demand as sales have exceeded expectations.
