Mercedes CLS will appear in early October under the Paris Motor Show and a new series

of informal photos of the second generation of German model appeared on the Internet. This time new CLS pictures are much clearer. Broad lines were retained from the old generation, and the Germans have applied the new design philosophy. The result is impressive. Mercedes CLS looks more aggressive and in the same time inspires sporty and elegance.

In front you can see some elements taken from the SLS AMG. Redesigned grille with smoother bonnet lines, adjacent to the new optical blocks gives to the future CFA an aggressive silhouette. Germans have not forgotten about the inside of the four-door Coup also. They installed a center console similar to the new E-Class and S-Class.

Regarding the engines, Mercedes promises to start with the 3.5-liter V6 that produces 306 horsepower and 4.7 liter V8 unit capable of developing 435 horses. Later we can assist to another version of a V8 AMG 5.5-liter twin-turbo, which produces 544 horsepower. Also, four-cylinder engine with 204 horses and 250 CDI unit will also be present in the new CLS.

The second generation of Mercedes-Benz CLS is ready for its debut in Paris. This time, the model has serious competition in the segment, but its creators are not worried at all.

The Germans from Mercedes Benz revealed some images of the new CLS model, which will debut at the Paris Motor Show this autumn. CFA reached to the second generation and its creators say the new model has a more athletic character and a cat silhouette. The Mercedes-Benz has not yet announced the details of the CLS engines, but presented some news regarding this model. One of the innovative elements could be the new set of LED position, which includes 71 LEDs and provides greater visibility compared to previous systems of this kind.

In terms of design, the new CLS reminds us about SLS AMG's supercar, the radiator grille being dominated by Mercedes-Benz logo, and this emphasizes the relationship of this model with other coupe model made by German car manufacturer. On the interior, board represents a cockpit that envelops the driver and shows all the information they need to know for drive. The top of the dashboard is wrapped in a satin material finish and the whole interior is "crushed" with leather and wood. Optionally, the Mercedes-Benz offers carbon fiber trim and wood finished in a glossy black color.

With its special design, the new CLS benefits from the fact that we have a generation before the competition in this segment," said Joachim Schmidt, head of sales and marketing department from Mercedes-Benz.
