The Nokia X3 02 Is An Impressive All Rounder

Nokia has recently released several new smartphones

, including the new Nokia X3 02. This great looking handset combines the use of a physical keypad and a touchscreen.

Ideal for social networkers, the Nokia X3 02 provides a comprehensive all round package. It features include a 5 megapixel camera, radio player, Wi-Fi internet access and a number of social networking applications.

The Nokia X3 02 measures 106.2x 48.4x 9.6mm making it compact and slimline, and lightweight at just 77.4 grams, meaning it is pocket friendly and unobtrusive. It is available in a number of exciting colour schemes including White Silver, Dark Metal, Petrol Blue, Pink and Lilac. Therefore, even the most style conscious user is sure to find a colour variant of their liking, a smart move from Nokia in an age where mobile phones are also viewed as fashion statements.

Measuring 2.4 inches, the TF resistive touchscreen on the Nokia X3 02 is capable of displaying up to 256K colours within 240x 320 pixels. This makes is great for viewing colour photos, surfing the internet or even watching video files. The inclusion of a touchscreen means users can navigate the user interface and select icons on the screen rather than have to use fiddly navigation buttons.

50 MB of internal storage is available as standard, however a micro SD card slot is also included. This can be utilised when further storage is required, by installing a memory card of up to 32 GB. This gives the potential to store an entire digital music collection or a large number of photos, videos or documents.

Class 10 GPRS and EDGE give the Nokia X3 02 its connections to cellular networks, whilst access to the internet is provided courtesy of HSDPA at speeds of up to 10.2 Mbps (in areas covered by 3G) or Wi-Fi wherever local wireless networks are available, offering a faster connection. Bluetooth and micro USB connections allow users to connect wirelessly and directly respectively, to other devices, allowing a range of different tasks to be carried out.

The built in camera boasts 5 megapixels, meaning the Nokia X3 02 also doubles up as an effective digital camera. Its pixel resolution of 2592x 1944 means the resulting images are of high quality, whilst the camera can also shoot video in VGA quality at a rate of 18 fps.

Several pre-installed games are included, along with access to a library of downloadable games, and a stereo FM radio player compliment the versatile internal media player and social networking features, to make the Nokia X3 02 a versatile entertainment device.
