The name "The North Face" has its own origin: in the Northern hemisphere, the north slopes of the mountains are the coldest, and have the deepest snow; it is very difficult to climb the north slopes. So the name implies that real climbing fans are fearless and always brace difficulties.
Today, the headquarters of The North Face is in San Leandro, California, United States. Its markets are most in North America, South America, Europe and Asia Pacific. As an outdoor products manufacturer, The North Face develops and maintains strong relationships with other outdoor communities in various ways, such as sponsoring athlete program.
In 1985, The North Face produced MOUNTAIN JACKET series products, which became the necessities for people who go to high altitude and severely cold regions. MOUNTAIN JACKET became those people's top choice.
