The hunt for the best gadgets in the country is finally over. The results of The Quick Heal NDTV Tech Life Awards 2010 were announced at a glittering function on Sunday, 23rd May 2010 in New Delhi. The Quick Heal NDTV Tech Life Awards, into its second year, is the country's most credible awards to honor the best in the field of Gadgets and Gizmos.
The Quick Heal NDTV Tech Life Awards has become bigger and better. The strictness of the selection procedure was higher than the preceding year. The following new awards were added this year: Best Consumer Electronics, Best Computer Peripherals, Best Portable Audio Product, Best Smartphone, Best Mobile Apps, and NDTV Gadget of the Year (Popular Choice).
The awards ceremony started with filing of nominations by various brands under various categories to compete with their competitors for the GADGET of the year. The nominations, just like last year, were validated by Ernst & Young, and passed to the jury panel, which finally picked the BEST product in each category. This year the jury panel comprised of Gadget and Gizmo freaks, celebrities, technology consultants, technology journalists, to name a few.
