The Right To Protect Yourself
Self defense is a right that was given to all of us
. We can apply this method if necessary when the right time comes. Force is applicable when using self defense. If you cannot control your attacker, you are allowed to use force to halt his attacks. However, you are only allowed to use limited force against your attacker. As the law provided, you are not allowed to use more force than your attacker. Breaking this rule will reverse your situation from a victim into attacker.
Brute force may likely cause a serious injury to your opponent, moreover, if not controlled it can cause death to your attacker. Striking back using force is allowed by the law only if, you do not have any other choice to protect yourself from an attacker's deadly attack. You can learn self defense from any martial arts, however, make sure to choose the right method so that you can learn the correct self defense for the right purpose.
We have the right to protect our properties and the people we love from any serious injury or damage brought by any assailant. However, in applying self defense you have to consider few things. This way you can be certain on what we are fighting for. These are the things that you need to consider when it comes to self defense.
1. You're right to self defense.
2. To whom are you going to use it?
3. Against whom are you defending?
4. What is the possible cause?
Self defense is not a crime, it is the right given by the government to protect yourself when an assailant attack's you. This is the first aid for a fight. If you choose to defend yourself make sure that you are ready to get hurt. Self defense is an immediate reaction when sudden danger appears. This action may kill your attacker if you cannot control yourself. Make sure to control yourself even in the midst of danger, or else, you will become a murderer. Remember that self defense is provided to help you protect yourself, not to kill your opponent.
These are considered as criminal actions. However, the defendant can be relieved if he can prove that his ultimate purpose is to defend himself. Even so, there are cases wherein the self defense reasons are imperfect which causes the defender to become a criminal. Generally, no one is allowed to defend himself with force if he can let the law do the action. However, we cannot avoid dangers and these dangers do not apply the law to their methods.
