? Does calorie counting and diets seem like hard work? I know you would you love to know your bodys natural way of making sure you dont over eat because it would mean you could lose weight - right?

Well, simply put, our bodies are designed to eat when were hungry and stop when we are full. Imagine yourself noticing all the signals, all the signals

However, right now most of us are conditioned to eat everything on our plate by our parents and schools at a young age. Which can be a problem particularly here in Australia and in the USA where generally speaking the food portion sizes served are large in comparison to the rest of the world. It is little wonder why they are two of the fattest nations on earth.

One can, you know lose weight fast by being in tune with the signals from the body. It starts with learning the difference between real hunger, emotional hunger and thirst. Are you confused about when to eat? Well its a lot easier than a lot of people make out and more or less simply eating when youre fairly hungry. If you starve yourself, the body stores food consumed as fat as your subconscious mind will perceive it as a time of famine and will want to help you survive.

How often to eat, in terms of improving the efficiency of your metabolism, is relevant but is another topic for another day.

Do you find it hard to know when to stop (and remember we are talking real hunger here not emotional hunger)? Well, it can actually take up to twenty minutes for the signals to reach your brain. Are you now asking - well do you know how much food I can eat in twenty minutes? Hence, my next pointsslow down and free yourself from distractions.

Slow down to a quarter of the pace at least and enjoy the foods flavours, texture and smells of every mouthful. Put down your cutlery or food in between mouthfuls and maybe even have a half time break. You will find enjoyment of food like never before.

Do you eat on the run? Do you eat in front of the TV or computer? Well, there is no way you will notice the signals doing that. Free yourself from distractions so you get good at noticing the signals.

The more in tune you are with your body the easier it is to notice the signals as soon as they are sent and the quicker you can lose weight. Stop eating when you even suspect you are full as you can always eat more if you misread the signal.

Let your natural signals guide rather than a calculator which doesnt know you.
