The Sole E95: Built To Last, Feature-packed And Reasonably Priced Elliptical

The Sole e95 comes from the E series of elliptical trainers by Sole

. Of all the members of the lineup, this one is the heaviest and largest model. It tips the scale at 215 pounds, which makes for a fitness machine that's stable for users of all sizes. The frame and the flywheel are built to last, able to support a maximum weight of 400 pounds.

First thing you'll notice when you step onto the pedals are their slanting surface. They're inclined inward at an angle of 2 degrees, minimizing strain on joints such as the knees and ankles. Furthermore, they can be customized to properly support the user while working out. Such feature allows long usage of the equipment to be as comfortable as possible.

The e95 uses a unique kind of resistance: the ECB magnetic resistance. Such technology allows for pedal movements that are frictionless and fluid. Plus there are 20 levels of resistance available. This piece of equipment can adapt to the challenges your progressing fitness level requires from it, so there's no need to get a different machine.

A total of 10 inbuilt programs are available, each one accessed by a press on the keypad on the main console. Programs included are manual, random and fat burning. In addition, there are 2 programs dedicated for the heart rate. These will help you with carrying out routines which require you to reach and maintain a specific number of heartbeats per minute.

Speaking of heart rate, there are two ways that the e95 monitors yours. One is through the pulse grip sensors, and the other by means of a wireless chest strap. Giving your upper body a dose of working out is a pair of hand grips, which are molded to give the users maximum comfort.

The power incline feature is another great addition thrown in by Sole. At any given time during your working out, the slope can be adjusted easily by means of the console. A 20" stride length allows for maximum leg swinging. While users that are tall will benefit from it, users that are short may have some issues with such long stride length.

Making your exercise times less boring is music playing loudly on the integrated speaker on the Sole e95. It's fully compatible to play tracks stored on your favorite MP3 player. There's a cooling fan as well. However, many observe it's not at all that powerful. Overall, this elliptical machine offers a lot of features, in a price that's within your means.
